2009.10.17__Dutch Design Week

At the Paper Zoo in the MU are Jeroen Wand and Frederike Top presenting the 'Avis Longus Secretum' (Ned: 'Langgerekte Geheime Vogel') during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven.

2009.09.18__Art in Roosendaal

Together with Jana Flohr, Frederike made an object of art for the 'Norbertus college' in Roosendaal, in honor of their 90th anniversary. Last friday (18 Sept) was the presentation on their schoolyard with all the students, old students and the schoolband! This design, which represents a livingroom, will be completed by the students. In this way it will be a dynamic piece of art which will be different every semester. On the pictures below you can see the white 'birthday-cakes' the students made for the opening. 2009.09.02__Frederike won the "Europe 40 under 40" award 2009

Frederike is selected to be one of the most promising and emerging European design talent (under 40 years) for 2009! From across 19 European nations, the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design selected 60 architects and industrial designers for the "Europe 40 under 40". Projects were judged on the merit of design innovation with the emphasis on pushing the envelope on conventional methods and exploring new ideas, theories, and approaches to contemporary design. 2009.05.07__Race-furniture

Frederike designed a series of race-furniture for the BNO event Vroaam! together with Suzanne Rietdijk and Jeroen Wand for the Groene Honden.

2009.04.29__Vroaaaaaam!!

Frederike designed with the Groene Honden the interior of the BNO lounge and routing at 'Vroaam' on the 7th of May (www.vroaam.nl). She also gives an 'inspiration talk', so come and encourage!

2009.04.29__Strandleven: 'Art, for kids only'

The Groene Honden arrange the Zandvoorts Museum with new work! Kids from 10 -14 years are going to assist the artists with Action Painting, Real Life Photo-Shooting and Building Up-Side-Down Sandcastles, so they're experiencing the process of art and design. At the end everything will be sold by auction!

2009.04.19__Folded Clock

Together with Suzanne Rietdijk, Frederike designed the animation 'Folded Clock' with the Groene Honden for the BNO symposium: 'crafted, on dutch conceptual crafts'. Check the whole movie on youtube here.

CBK Groningen invited Frederike to present her work during the furniture fair Wonen&co. Come and visit from 12 till 15 March in Martiniplaza, Groningen.

2009.02.06__Opening Green Envy

The opening of the Groene Honden exhibition in Dutch Design Hotel Artemis was a succes! More then 200 people came to look, listen and taste. It's still there till the 13th of May.

The Groene Honden invite you to come to their next exhibition 'Green Envy' in Dutch Design Hotel Artemis in Amsterdam. Frederike designed together with the Groene Honden a whole bunch of new work!

2008.12.13__DRU complex in the Achterhoek

Frederike designed the interior of the presentation-day for a new museum in Ulft (area of the Oude IJssel), by order of Stichting Museumontwikkeling. The old factory where the museum is located in has three spaces: designhall, exhibitionhall and the fabricationhall.

2008.12.05__Cuba!

Frederike went to Cuba! From the 12th of November till the 4th of December she discovered the beautiful Island.

2008.11.06__Arte. Mystica

Frederike participates at the next exhibition of Dutch Design Hotel Artemis in Amsterdam: Arte. Mystica. You can visit the exhibition from 6 November (opening) till 29 January.

2008.10.30__Pit Industry goes Tokyo!

Tuttobene will present Pit Industry, designed by Jana Flohr and Frederike Top, at 'Created in Holland' @ 100% Design Tokyo. This fair starts 30 October and ends at 3 November.

25 October 16:00 is the opening of the final exhibition 'Str@ndleven21' in the museum of Zandvoort. 2008.10.23__The Amazing Game...!

The Groene Honden (Green Dogs) invite you to come out and play during the Dutch Design Week Eindhoven! The Amazing Game of of Hiding with the Green and Running from the Red (formerly known an hide and seek) will be played on Thursday October 23rd at 19:30 - 20:30 - 21:30 hrs in Stadstuin Smalle Haven, Eindhoven.

2008.10.17__New lamp!

On 17 October presents Wever & Ducre at 'Interieur' (the furniture fair in Kortrijk, Belgium) the new lamp: 'Romance' designed by Frederike. This fair is from 18 October till 26 October. www.interieur.be (check the movie of the stand!)

At the same time of the interior fair in Kortrijk (17.10 - 26.10) there's 'Exterieur', a place to have dinner, drinks, chats and to afterparty! Dark placed lots of Rosets at the restaurantwall.

2008.09.10__4 weeks of freedesigndom

In the OBA (Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam) is the exhibition Design Works, where Frederike showes her clothehangers collar, from 10 September till 12 October.

2008.06.21__'Recyclicity'

2012 Architecten (2012 Architects) shows the collar made of clothehangers Frederike made. It's part of the exhibition ACEC Stroomt of the CBK Apeldoorn from 21 June till 3 August.

2008.06.12__Groene Honden presents 'Kamer te huur'

12 June opens the exhibition 'Kamer te huur' of the Groene Honden, part of the presentation U-Home by De Nieuwe Salon at Utrecht. It's an exhibition of 50 artists based in Utrecht. 2008.05.16__Strandleven21

Together with Rita Giesbers (www.ritagiesbers.nl) Frederike designed for Groene Honden a project for beachclub Havana in Zandvoort aan Zee. It's a work relied on the beach, the sun, wind and the sea-gulls. Strandleven21 presents it from 16 May till the end of the season in October. 2008.01.30__Small Space Design Race

Frederike and Jana are winners of the Small Space Design Race! Tuttobene organised the Small Space Design Race during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, Frederike and Jana participated and won the contest with a home gardening tool. The product will be presented in Milan during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile at Tuttobene Milan 2008.
